The Welsh National Museum is putting on an exhibition about childhood memories, childhood games etc and asked for contributions through the South Wales Echo. I responded and was then asked if I had any tangible items from my childhood - I said clothing coupon books, ID card and a much loved but threadbare Teddy - same age as me, 72 in June. They have asked to borrow him for the exhibition and have assured me he will be secure in a glass cabinet and would I like to deliver him or should they send a car for him!!!! I've decided to take him cos he's never been into the city centre before!!!

I hope he doesnt get scared on his own at the museum at night time.

I'm thrilled - I think it's running from June/July to the end of the year and will take place in the old central library in the middle of town

Lovely to have teddy on show at an exhibition. I'm another who hasn't any toys from my childhood,(made sure my children kept theirs')

Today's the day!! Me and Ted will be off in a minute to meet the lady at the museum - think we'll go on the train rather than bus - he hasn't been on a train before and fortunately it's not raining cos he hasn't got a mac.

Teddy is now in the centre of Cardiff!! He enjoyed it on the train but was a bit taken aback by all the noise in the city centre - I won't get him back until January now, but I can pop in and see him and will be invited to the launch of the exhibition next month
