I feel very sad today

I attended my Aunts funeral today! she was 93 years old. What
a grand old age to get to. I was very sad see that only 8 people
came to the funeral, including myself and my Husband. I suppose
when you get to that age there isn't so many people left. My Mum
is now the only one left from that generation and is not in good
health. I am so glad that I joined Genes because through them
I found a relative who shares the same Gt Grandparents as myself.
I suppose what I am trying to say is that although I have lost a
dear Aunty, I have found a Cousin and we have now become
good friends. So thank you Genes and all you kind people out
there that have helped me on my way.

Sorry to hear about your Aunt Julie and as you said she got to the grand age of 93yrs and not many people around to pay respects but you were there along with other members of family.

What a fantastic age to reach. She must have seen so many changes over her life. A sad loss to you and yours Julie, but a very full life and something to be celebrated.

Oh Julie ,it is sad when there are not many people at a funeral ,but you Aunt must have outlived everyone.At least you were there to say goodbye.
