Hi taff

been following this thread

glad you finally got some action re the fox

well done granny grumps

I have a family of foxes at the bottom of my garden they have lived here far longer than I have, they cause me no problems I don't keep chickens, rabbits etc so its not a problem to me.

They hardly come down our end of the garden but when they do our 15 year old cat makes it known their not welcome in his territory and chases them away, it's quite funny seeing a cat chase a fox twice it's size.

Hope the fox it treated quickly and well done for perservering.

we have a copter service here for medical,
"Childflight" and "Careflight" both have had funding reduced so now they rely on donations, with "Careflight" our pilots were made redundant and replaced by operators from Canada.
work that one out.

At the moment here we have a programme called 'Helicopter Heroes'. And tbh the only thing it makes me feel is 'Why did they send a helicopter to that?'. Because apart from one or two cases where the helicopter is vital, they seem to go to anything and everything. I wonder if they do that when the camera crew aren't there? Not the fault of the helicopter crews, but their management. And the voiceover is always so over dramatic. 'This could be life threatening! The crew must get there quickly and the weather is closing in!!!!!' No it wasn't life threatening, the man just grazed his knee!
An exaggeration, but you get my gist.
