Sally, that really is disgusting, but regretfully is begining to sound typical!

I have to say Taff that the experinece you are having with the delay from the RSPCA reminds me of when I called them once. I saw a dog shut in a car on a boiling hot day. Car with windows shut and parked in full sunlight, not even shade. Phones police who got RSPCA to come out. After a fair old while, with me wondering wether to break the window or not, an inspector turned up. I walked up to him just after he'd peered in the car and been barked at by the small, very hairy dog.
I said 'What will you do? He's been in there a while now, do you want any help to get him out?'
Inspector 'Well he's got some water in there so I think he'll be OK' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really should have replied 'Why don't you park your van here for a while and sit in it with all your wondows up and a small amount of water, which is getting warm, to drink? Then you might see why I am worried'. But I was a lot more timid back then and left him to it. Shouldn't have, but I just didn't know what else to do.

OH was so cross! Used to me, I'll never change lol!

Luvs life! Son doing so well, turned things round, actually doing some work to pay bills for his flat, feed pup etc. Seen more of him since left than when lived here!

Oh Taff (Shimmer reflects), I so luv my little miracle (Shimmer thinks, not so little now, taller than both of us, pats me on head, his dad too!)

Lol Taff,

Years ago Shimmer was told she could never work again, (back probs) - Taff knows Shimmer, always zooming, whizzin, luvs life, can't rest. Has target = 'me time' set by self.

3 children lol, took Shimmer 10 years and then being dippy as usual, missed all signs/first trimester, doctor confirmed 13wks preg when visited. Shimmer was so excited, ran downstairs, out of front door, into road, knocked over by man on bike who said, "Are you okay?" Shimmer waving to OH across busy main road (he was panicking lol!". Shimmer replied, "Ooooh, I'm pregnant!"

Lol surprised he didn't fall off again!

Could only happen to .... Shimmer!!! :)

Humans are the scurge of this planet not our fellow inhabitants.

Here you go....

Ode to a fox.....Judi Hewit

The hunt has arrived - to the sound of the horn
As my cubs snuggle closer - on this their last dawn
Can the hunters not hear my anguished cry?
If I stay with my babies - I'll certainly die
My cubs have not yet learned - to fear mankind
And so I'm afraid - we'll be easy to find
Can the hunt not feel a mother's pain?
As they butcher my cubs - without any shame
My family in tatters - my world torn apart
The hunters now have me - and rip out my heart
So the next time you see the hunt
Laughing with glee
Think of my poor cubs - then think about me.
