SallyF Report 2 Jun 2008 17:31

Why do the RSPCA and other animal organisations never attend to sick and injured animals in real life as quickly as they do when Rolf and his cameras were around?

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 2 Jun 2008 17:48

Are you going to pay the vet to turn out......?

Or catch it and take it to them....? (not recommended unless you want to catch some horrible disease yourself and are up to date with all your jabs including rabies)

Cos contrary to what someone has said, vets are most definetely not obliged to help out wild animals free of charge. When we had to call them from work for injured badgers, deer, etc. they always sent a bill. And so they should. Or they would be treating myxied rabbits, rats caught in traps, mice with sprained ankles and flattened hedgehogs.

Taff

Taff Report 2 Jun 2008 17:53

El,. all I want is a phone No,. and if necessary I will pay the bill, and i am sure my neighbours will be willing to help, to save their cats, as well.

Blue Moon Report 2 Jun 2008 18:03

Taff you OK ?
just came back to see if the vet had rang yet.

Edit
If you get a bill from the vet we will start a collection,
