Just popped in to see how things are going, ring again Taff will look in later.

Good luck.x

Taff Report 3 Jun 2008 07:54

Thanks Granny, will do!!

Taff Report 3 Jun 2008 08:33

The RSPCA just phoned me, they are going to send someone out with a humane trap, to catch the poor thing and treat it! Its up to me to monitor the trap, and if a healthy fox is caught, ring them and they will come out ASAP, and release it!
BUT, there is only ONE trap in the south wales area..... fingers crossed though!!

Blue Moon Report 3 Jun 2008 08:45

Morning Taff,
just come on to see whats happening, the humane trap sounds good .

Eldrick Report 3 Jun 2008 08:50

The RSPCA are breaking the ethical trapping code in that case, by asking an unqualified person to be responsible for monitoring a trap.

What do you do if a cat or another wild mammal gets into it? No responsible person should set a trap where there is a likelihood of other animals apart from the target species being caught. What will they use to bait it?

If a gamekeeper were to do a similar thing they would be falling over themselves to take out a prosecution.

But then again, they are a law unto themselves. Or think they are.

Taff Report 3 Jun 2008 08:54

Take it up with the RSPCA EL,. I will do all i can to help, as i said if another animal is caiught, I must ring them and they will be here ASAP to free it!!

Eldrick Report 3 Jun 2008 09:00

Its no problem to me, I couldnt care less. I suspect you have guessed my views on mangy foxes!

And I cant see the RSPCA getting anywhere very fast. Their response time is usually measured by a calendar as oposed to a stopwatch.

Anyway, good luck with your fox. lol.

Blue Moon Report 3 Jun 2008 09:00

Eldrick, stop winding people are so good at

I'm quite sure that the RSPCA will come straight out to the trap if any animal is caught in it weather it be a Fox or a Cat,
and i don't some how think that Taff will not monitor the you !

Taff Report 3 Jun 2008 10:36

Eldick, you do not deserve a responce to that!

MarionfromScotland Report 3 Jun 2008 12:48

Hi Taff, glad you got response hopefully they can get hold of trap sooner rather than later.

Eldrick..............go wash your hair or do something constructive............. you are so naughty lolxx

ginqueen Report 3 Jun 2008 13:47

Just want you to know that I think you're doing a grand job Taff, but it does get quite stressful when you see anything in pain so I do feel for you both.

Eldrick Report 3 Jun 2008 13:55

They not there yet?

I could have probably walked there quicker and sorted the job out by now :-)

Poor fox.

I dont come on the internet to discuss my medical conditions.............sorry, but that doesnt float my boat.

Far less would I come on a genealogy website message board and start telling people that I have a fatal illness.

But, whatever. Thats just me. I would do things
* your words to a human Eldrick, God help an animal!*

Eldrick Report 3 Jun 2008 14:32

Oh, so you want an argument do you Taff?

You know, I never attack anyone personally unless attacked myself.

You have just attacked me by taking a quote totally out of context and you know it. If you want to turn your fox hugging thread into a fight, fine by me. Im bored :-)

You may say sorry and delete, but its up to you.

You become fair game otherwise.

Taff Report 3 Jun 2008 14:36

I am not "game" for you or anyone else!
