Eldrick.......for goodness sake act your age.
Just please stop arguing. Its so stupid......have you lot got nothing better to do than argue with a computer screen. i come on this thread to see how the poor fox is doing and am greated with arguing please just get on with your life im sure Taff wont bother you. This is so silly Eldrick you dont seem unreasonable just go to another thread and leave it.

Eeyore13 Report 3 Jun 2008 17:04

Anyone can only use the resources available in the area they live in.
Taff is acting in the foxes' best interests & asked for advice & is doing the best she can under the circumstances-at least she's bothering.

Eldrick Report 3 Jun 2008 17:05

Right, got that, just remember it!

Bye bye.

I dont expect to see me mentioned on here again.

unsub Report 3 Jun 2008 17:05

Eldrick Report 3 Jun 2008 17:09

Oh Granny!

So Im a big mouth am I...?

Well, I never. So you want a war as well do you?

Remeber, you started it!

tory Report 3 Jun 2008 17:10

I understand what you are all saying but like you say Taff was asking for advice and as I see it thats what Eldrick was doing .I am a country girl and to me it's simple if an animal is suffering then you humanely distroy it .:-)

Taff Report 3 Jun 2008 17:10

LouLou, I havent seen it to-day,but they roam from garden to garden, as I'me sure your aware, I have contacted my neighbours, and asked them to let me know if they see it, nothing yet!

Blue Moon Report 3 Jun 2008 17:11

I think Taff is doing the right thing by letting the appropriate people know rather that turn her back on the situation and let the animal suffer longer than it has to.
I am quite sure that when the fox has been caught the RSPCA will do what ever is best for the animal, but at least it will be given a chance.

Eeyore13 Report 3 Jun 2008 17:12

Granny said 'some other' Eldrick-read,no ones got a vendetta against you!

Taff Report 3 Jun 2008 17:12

LouT Report 3 Jun 2008 17:13

I think they will probably destroy it but i read that treatments can be given and they can go off out and be normal again. The RSPCA will do their best though. My grandfather was a game keeper and i know he would just have shot it and as much as i do not agree with that in some ways its probably best. it isnt up to any of us to decide.....the appropriate people will make the decision.

AnnCardiff Report 3 Jun 2008 17:14

I must say I despair of the RSCPA sometimes, they really should have responded by now or they don't deserve their name - prevention of cruelty to animals - feral or otherwise

tory Report 3 Jun 2008 17:15

But isn't that the problem when its caught !!!!
In the mean time it is suffering !
Is there not a private land owner about that you could contact and ask for help ?

LouT Report 3 Jun 2008 17:16

we rang RSPCA about my sister in laws fathers dog (if u got any of that) it was in a terrible state. they came once and gave him a weeks notice.....said the dog was fine and left again. My sister in law took the dog one day when her dad had gone away and left the dog to be looked after by some one who terrorised it. I took it got it back to health and rehomed it as far away as i could. Lou x

Taff Report 3 Jun 2008 17:18

unfortunatly not tory, The private householders are really not interested.and thats their perogative.

tory Report 3 Jun 2008 17:21

Loulou with all due respect you are talking about a pet not a wild animal that needs to fend for itself and that is differant if the fox has mange that is so bad the RSPCA when and if they get there will distroy it ............BUT in the mean time it is suffering and so if a gamekepper can be contacted to help distroy the animal quickly then that is the humane thing to do :-))
