If you do, is there any chance that there has been any local reports about the Vulcan bomber. Have looked on the website but nothing has been added recently. Was wondering if it had been given it's display licence.

Hi, i live near Marshall's aerospace where the Vulcan Bomber was being tested, and was fortunate to see it when it came over my house, very impressive.

No probs Jackie, but would appreciate it if you hear anything. You might hear it tomorrow as it is suppose to be at Biggin Hill for the weekend.
And also the weekend of 5/6 July it's supposed to be at Waddington. We are all going to Fairford w/end of 12/13 July and are hoping to see it then. In a way I hope it doesn't do the first 2 as I would love it's 1st display will be at Fairford.

Hi Jackie,
just wondering if you had heard anything in the last fortnight? Literally and in the press.

From our lunchtime local news:

The Vulcan crew has just received permission to join the display at RAF Waddington Air Show this weekend.

Let us all hope that the weather is better than the forecast!

That's fantastic news: unfortunately I won't be able to make it but might send them a few quid towards the fuel bill.

Elisabeth, Thank you for the fantastic news, have just looked at East midlands news on the web and seen the report. I'm not going to Waddington this weekend but am going to Fairford the following weekend and it scheduled to fly there as well.

Helen,

Hope you enjoy Fairford.

I do hope the weather is better than forecast for this weekend for Waddington - the second day was cancelled last year because of waterlogged ground. Such a shame when so much effort is put into these events.
