The Company still exists but are having to cut back in order to keep going.

There is an article in the Liverpool Daily Post.

Presumably, there will be redundancy payouts and councelling available to those unfortunate to loose their jobs.

I was made redundant last year after 37 years with a well known B Bank. I was fortunate to get a reasonable redundancy payout and the option to draw my pension, which has seen us through.

it was a bakers shop pies cakes ect luckly my husband has still got a job he drives for the company!!!just getting slightly pissed before the money runs out!!!

Awww Carole I am so sorry.................but sometimes things like this turn out to be not as bad as you first think..

oh Carole, how awful for you - similar thing has just happened here in South Wales - Ferrari's the bakers has shut all it's shops, and there are loads of them and have been for years. No warning to the employees, just turned up for work to find a notice on the shop window saying closed!!

dont know if u have seen the news it may be local only but sayers and hampsons no longer exists thats my job i have been with them for 17 years and feel like shit
