Maria Report 9 Jun 2008 20:42

PS I've corrected it now but made a typo on my original response, so ask me about sums that's ok, but a speed typing test - forget it :0)

Marcelle Report 9 Jun 2008 20:42

Made a few guesses first that were wrong and hit lucky on 3rd guess.

I'm trying to keep my brain ok for this kind of thing cos my twin boys are 13 and some of their homework is getting beyond me, but I've a 5year old to sort out now so trying my best lol.

Marcelle Report 9 Jun 2008 20:35

How did you work it out Broggy? Been trying to do it for an hour lol

Maria Report 9 Jun 2008 20:34

What about 8 Goldfish (8 x £1.80 = £14.40) and 4 Angel fish (4 x £1.40 = £5.60) = £20

Marcelle Report 9 Jun 2008 20:33

Exactly Kim

This is my 10 year old home work and me and his dad are stumped lol
Have to work out how many of each she bought totalling £20

Got teenage sons so used to this sort of question.. ;))))))))

Marcelle Report 9 Jun 2008 20:25

Any one up for a sum??? trying to work this one out and gone brain dead!

A goldfish cost £1.80
An angel fish costs £1.40

Nasreen paid exactly £20 for some fish
How many of each kind did she buy?
