I have always believed my mum when she told me as a bairn,that a soul mate is the one you can meet and you just naturally mesh together like peaches and cream.
The missus is the peach,but i have soured with age lol,but we are still together after 43 years.

i have found my soul mate now
id define it as someone who i love and who loves me
they suport and protect me as i do them
we agree on most things and dont argue about the things we dont agree on
he makes my heart leap when i see him
gives me a lovely warm loved feeling
i know i can depend on him
he makes me feel special
he never makes me feel stupid when i struggle with things
he helps me
