I love the 1960s...was probably the one decade..where things changed..in all areas..The Beatles..Stones..were the ones that changed history in my books..As regards to pop music anyhow..
Oasis..I never liked...they were copycats of the Beatles in my opinion...

I think Arch though you could be biassed...to you..that period important..because that time influenced you.

I was 1980s..brought up with some great pop stuff too...

Motown...love it...
Music goes around..comes around..hits of the 1960s/70s..making a comeback..always covers being done

if i could pick a decade of music it would be from 1964 to 1974, to me the greatest time for pop music.
