I go through different phases of music

at the mo its

Linkin Park, Greenday, Muse, Foo Fighters, Pendulum, Arctic Monkeys.

The ones I always fall back on though are Coldplay, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Bryan Adams, Stereophonics, Oasis and Nivarna.

It is easier for me to say what I don't like.......hip-hop only because I can't hear what they are saying even when I turn up my deaf aid....and jazz........too dischordant for me.....

I hear bits of music and I just wish I knew what it was........if only I had a memory bank to store what I hear, and then get it all down on CDs......or Ipods or whatever they are now........some music can even make me cry.......but my favourite modern ? record of all time is Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street.....

I have every single record ever made by Des O'connor and Val Doonican. Sheer talent and what class.

I also like AC/DC and Deep Purple.

Absolutely. One shouldn't restrict oneself to a particular genre at all.

On my Ipod I have D'ye Ken John Peel by the Kendal Male Voice Choir next to the soundtrack from Clockwork Orange.

One must stay versatile.

I am just wondering if anyone buys that 25 volume set of Country Music etc. etc. that they have been advertising for years on Sky.....every time I switch it on, there is the ad.....
