Sue, you must be wrong, surely. I was watching the BBC Politics Show at lunchtime, and there was a junior Treasury Minister saying we have never had it so good, and we are all much better off than we have ever been.

Ah that was a statement by a junior treasury minister. I believe that position is also known as scape goat when the cr*p hits the media fan.

Oh, you mean that she had been told in advance what to say on the telly?

As far a pasta is concerned, we decided to plant our own this year, to save money. Does anyone know when it is ready for harvesting? Presumably we will be a bit behind the Italians, as they are an hour ahead of us, and have a warmer climate.
