Hi It has gone a bit fast while Ive been gone.
Grandaughter ok,just headache and stomachache.
Im sure she will survive,were off on hols tomorrow so she better make a quick recovery.
She is annoyed that she is missing Drama Art and science though,all which she enjoys

do you know I knew an actor who used to do the Milk Tray voice over in the 80s and he was a Breaker,same as me,,,he got me into R Ham and I got my 2 metre licence for it,

Sadly Roy died in 2000 ,,but he did many appearences in TV dramas,,he did many velvet voice ads,,

well we never had a licence in all the years we had one at home. We don't have anything left now, i gave my "rig" to my mother who sold it!!!! I have often thought of getting another one but it changes so much and i'm not sure it would be the same. x Sorry about your friend x

Stupid me ,I was thing of waves..
I was also on CB so should have known,bringing back memories of things,my son had his rig on the back of his bike.

I never had a CB licence as all was illegal back then in 1970's &into 80s. with sidebanding ,,,, I still have loads of friends made back then from eyeballs,but lots of us went over to licensed radio ham passing exams so keep intouch daily,all over the world,

talking of CB ,we used to go to highground and use sideband to talk to the world i had contacts in Italy and USA that i could get regular those were the days lol

Goodness,things are moving quickly on here today.
We didnt have a licence either,we had a sort of club and did treasure hunts and such like.
No,I dont miss it as smething else always comes along.This is something Ive wanted to do for years,but until recently couldnt find the time.
