After laddo being sent home with his leg the other day sent him in with a note yesterday for his form tutor telling her what he had told me about the bullying and I named the people he told me about.

Just has his year head on phone thanking me for the note and letting them know so quickly and told me what they had done and where doing. Even though his form tutor had dealt with things yesterday she had passed the note to the year head and she has had Laddo in to se her today with one of the lads who when she said she would involve the police he admitted his part in it, his mum will get a call as well, one lad isnt in and there is another that Laddo didnt tell me but the head is sure he is the ring leader but there parents will be called as well.

Laddo isnt allowed to the park for a couple of weeks and she wants him to use the clubs that are available at school in the mornings and he must tell me and his form tutor if anymore things happen. She said he seemed to grow up this morning as he had to tell them exactly what happened and who it was which is really hard for him to do with the way he is but he did it.

Just nice to be able to praise a school for acting very quickly on bullying instead of all the negative things we usually hear.

P.S just spoken to hubby and his form tutor rang him to say that it had been passed to the year head but they had sorted things with one of them . I had a missed caled on my moby so she must of then rang him, so nice to know they are taking it seriously.

Really pleased to hear that,Dawnie, I used to get bullied going back quite a few years now, so nothing changes, but the hurting seems a lot more viscious,

Quite right too, fantastic that it's been acted on so promptly but only because your son is so brave! Well done to him.
I know what it's like being bullied as i was too and i wish i'd have done something sooner. It went on all my school life and left early because of it! I hope this will be the end of it now for him. x

Well done to your Son Dawnie, It takes a lot of guts to stand up to the Bullies. Good on him for facing it head on And more importantly for getting something done about it. (((( Hugs)))) to him .

it explains why he hasnt been going to sleep and why hes been found downstairs at 4 in the morning he has been worrying and once again not telling us.


Hope the shock of being told if it happens again they will be put on bullying scheme and possibly excluded for a while will give the boys a wake up call and stop them.

Trouble with laddo is he lives in a fantasy world and never know how much of what he tells you is fantasy and what is real, and because he is so immature he is an open target for bullies.

Good for your lad, Dawnie, and means you have a bit less to worry about, also good to know he is learning to deal with the problem too, and knowing he gets support when reporting anything, will mean a lot. I hope the parents of these lads are as responsible as you are, but I fear not, they will probably think, not their children, who have the sun shining from their sit upons lol

I am pleased to hear your sons problem is being sorted & School are taking this matter seriously.
This Bullying has to be stopped if not, it can cause all sorts of problems for your son in the future.

Oh dear he came home with a nasty bruise on the side of his stomach where one of these boys had hit him.
Not sure if it was before or after they were spoken to so will have to find out later when he gets back in.

At least he did tell me he had been spoken to and one of the lads said he wouldnt do it again to him, onl time will tell.

OOOOHH makes my blood boil, if you're like me Dawnie you wanted to pulverise the little *%~s.. When my son told me about being bullied like yours the school dealt with it quickly and son told me it took a lot for him to admit it to me.

I'd like to see them try now, he is 19 years old 6' 3" tall and has some impressive muscles. LOL

I hope you get it all resolved soon. You could do without the extra hassle you have enough already xx

he does Karate but as they have told him that they cant use it outside he has taken it literally and wont fight back would definitely give them a shock if he suddenly took them down
