Hi Ange, nope, she cant find them anywhere, very upset about it. She is now trying to work out who to ring to get her hotel booking info, flight info etc. Sad - but Ive told her time and again to always back up stuff to a stick or to internet storage.

Ive emailed her details of a tool (paid for program) that claims to be able to restore files but she is too nervous to use it.

Many thanks for trying to help.

Yes Ive told her to at least try Angie.

Shes just rung me and told me that she sent them from her webmail to her OE some time back ? Not sure what she means. Ill ring her back again.

Hi Ange, thanks for the help but I just had her on the phone and she went to Dell and had them take over by remote and the guy says they are all lost :(

I cant really understand that as if they are on there but encrypted thent they should be recoverable somehow but she isnt very computer savvy and is nervous of losing more.

Thanks anyway :)

Shes with BT Angie - Ive just been looking at some OE recovery tool but I dont know if she is computer savvy enough to work out how to use it.
Ive rung her a few times and she is engaged all the time, bless her, she is probably ringing everyone for help. Apparently it contained her e-tickets aswell.

I dont think so angie because they were in a folder which has been deleted. If she deletes it on her OE wouldnt that also be deleted on the servers website?

My sister has just rung me virtually in tears. She had a folder on her O.E. containing all her files to do with her snow mobile holiday - she wanted to delete one of the files in the folder but the whole folder went.

She went to the recycle bin and clicked on it to be restored but its not back on the O.E. screen. I told her to do a search for it and 17 files came up with the name contained but when she tries to open them they are all in that encrypted, block stuff you get.

Anyone know what to do please?
