As an aside, support for Outlook Express is being withdrawn and after June it will no longer work with certain ISP's, including MSN mail and Hotmail.

You will need to install Window Live Mail instead.

Problem now overcome.
It was caused by too many large mails with attachments coming through.

Yes I have clicked on send/receive, that's how I know there are 19 emails to come through

My son may have moved things around on my screen...he tries things out on me. lol

Try clicking on send & receive ... does box come up in right hand corner

I had this when server went down ... if you left click on bottom left hand corner of your screen (where it is telling you how many emails you have)...you should get a box come up explaining errors.

Good evening everyone
Is there someone here that can help me.
I am trying to retrieve my emails (there are 19) and each time I try I get to number 5 and then Outlook tell me that there are errors and shuts down.
I have been trying everything I can think of since 4pm.
Can anyone help me, please, I am tearing my hair out.
