	I have lost my dear Dad too. It's just over 6 years but miss him lots. He was a 'new man' for his time and like someone else said on this thread, could, and would, do anything in the home. Cook, clean, iron etc. My Mum, and us, were so fortunate to have had him...and we knew it. Happy Fathers Day Dad xxx 7.11.1915 to 10.1.2002

	My Dad died 4 years ago this year too..............I miss him still and always will, but have so many lovely memories of him.

Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 23,508 Send Message	Amanda, they were the last words I said to my Dad too. Uzzi, I still haven't got used to his Sunday mornign phone calls and his voice always said ' Howdo!' If the phone rings on a Sunday, I still half expect to hear that.

	Like TW it's a double whammy for me as today would have been his birthday. It will be 2years in less than a month that he passed on and I still forget sometimes that he isn't here. Love the poem

	It will be four years in October since my Dad passed away suddenly...........I am forever thankful that the last words I said to him were " Love you Dad ".
