I have been informed by members of my family that my grandfather Frederick Choules drove a horse and cart for the railways. Every year there was a horse parade in Regents Park in London.

My grandfather was awarded safety medals for driving his horse and cart on behalf of the GWR. The medals were won from 1934 - 1948. I have a photo of the medals, and also of him sitting on his cart, but am unable to find anything on the web about this annual show.

can anyone help with information?

Many thanks.

Pam

Is it the same one as the London Harness Horse Parade.

Surely it was not just for GWR
