If you look at any other site that has moderators you don't see any nastiness or if you do it is short lived.

GR is one on it's own - I've been here for four years and nothing changes, no matter how many leave or how many join it carries on and always will until GR stand up and say enough is enough - just suspending or banning doesn't help as we all know that people come back under new names.

I dont think its bullying its ridiculing people,,and that also is unacceptable,it solves nothing only brews resentment,

Its like trying to shove *rubbish*up a ladder trying to appeal for people to act with some form of adulthood,!

Perhaps our ideas of bullying are different...but to me when a gang of people get together and hurl abuse at another that is bullying.

Just my opinion but one I am entitled to I hope.

Jean you are right

But an individual can bully as can a group

The problem starts when friends are sticking up for friends without sitting back and taking stock of the situation first.

If people sat back and reviewed posts first than perhaps they would think twice before jumping in all guns blazing even if their friends are the one's firing the bullets.

Type a post and preview before submitting - and ask yourself the following

"how would I feel if I recieved that post or if someone I cared about recieved it"

If you would be happy then submit - if not delete

Of course Jean,no problem..but I also hope people see hurling name calling as abuse&bullying aswell,

Why on earth do people do it,,,anyone got an answer,?~

Maybe they are lonely and these boards are their "reality"

Or just as unpleasant in real life as they are on here...............I am not the most observant person in the world, but can name 2 members who only ever pop up on threads where trouble is brewing.

Name calling is a sign someone has lost it and can't reasonably justify themselves are put into words
(suitable) their opinions - it's fustration


I find I'm calmer on here than is real life to be honest - because I can review what I'm saying before posting, in real life it just comes straight out without chance to review
