Member Since: April 2006 Posts: 5,644 Send Message	They are building a new 21 storey hotel in front of my windows,blocking my view of the Indian Ocean, its 1/4 to 12 at night here and what are they doing? Pumping concrete to lay the foundations!!! Thats what, been at it at least since 8:30 when I came home from work and still lorries queued up to unload. Looks like it is going to be a long night for me now lol, 12 hrs work then this! PS we are 3 hrs ahead of UK if wondering why time diff.

	You poor mite!! ;¬)) It might be cool.... but it isn't FREEZING, lol! And you can't even have the old man's sleeping draught... a tot of fine malt, lol! Seriously, it's miserable when you are kept awake and you know you have a full day's graft ahead of you. Hope they shut up shop for you soon. Love Daff xxx

Can get it from Duty free at airport where I work and there is a booze shop up the road, strictly non muslims though! (oh yeah?) Also Hilton Hotel across from me too. But I dislike Malt, if I am going to have a tot it would be rum, but very rarely drink. Sue, thanks for earplugs, but not working lol. 3 more lorries just turned up!! Going to have to try to get to sleep soon.

Member Since: April 2006 Posts: 5,644 Send Message	Daff, I am in a Muslim country (United Arab Emirates), you may be thinking of Saudi Arabia, none at all there. Here non muslims are allowed to drink in the home if they (supposedly) hold a licquor licence, or at a hotel.

	Yep... Saudi and Kuwait! I remember my sons taking photos of cans of lager with the condensation dripping down them and sending them out to my husband!.... naughty little devils, lol!! Love Daff xxx
