Friday 13th came late for me

Well, I'm feeling a lot better today.

It took 3 packets of colour run to get rid of all the green from the washing but it worked in the end.

The decorating company have just been to take measurements etc to send the estimate to the insurance company.

I just have loads of work ahead of me now to get a load of boxes and get this room totally cleared out for them as it will be a filthy job when they pull the old ceiling down.

Goodness knows where on earth I am going to put all the furniture. The dining room is the biggest so into my lounge (which is already full anyway) has to go 1 very large dining table plus 6 chairs, i computer/desk/chair, 1 dog cage large size, 1 welsh dresser, 1 sideboard, tons of boxes of books and ornaments, 1 hi-fi.

I'll be living in the cupboard under the stairs before long - it's the only place left !!!

Hope it worked and the green disappeared as quickly as it came!

There's a lot to be said for lying low on Friday 13ths, but not if you have a bulging ceiling overhead!
Hope you get it all fixed up soon.

I'll pass on the voddy, but all donations of chocolate will be gratefully received.

Just off to town to get the colour run thingy.

I need gallons of tea and sympathy please.

Friday 13th was ok but Saturday morning my dining room ceiling bulged and a load of water came through from the bathroom. Emergency plumber came and fixed it but it seems I am not covered by insurance for the plumbing work. Luckily though I am covered for a new ceiling and complete redecoration of the dining room.

Saturday afternoon little one fell down the stairs and bruised his back. Later in the afternoon we went to a barbie and he was on the trampoline with the other kids and banged his chin on the bar going round it. Top teeth through bottom lip.

Today all my washing has turned green. A new pair of his shorts has accidentally gone in with the rest of the load. Need to get some colour run at the shop this afternoon.

All this on top of the stress of going through re-mortgaging and dealing with solicitors etc.

I've got a headache !!
