have spent 2 days deleting pms, 40 odd pages, of both received and sent
do you delete them after you have read them or leave them to build up like me

I started deleting after seeing Roslyn's thread. Nearly 40 pages and I have only been on here a year!

Am going to start deleting every week (well thats the plan anyway) LOL

I spent ages deleting mine once. Never again, I never did get to the end. lol Life's too short. Instead I just delete contacts regularly that aren't related. Far easier.

As I said on other thread I`m deleting --old birthdays , irrelevant ones , seasonal ones , jokes but keeping genealogy ones or those of interest to everyone, Ros xx

im not so bothered about old threads
it was just the pms i was surprised at, they soon mount up dont they

I like to keep my old "thoughts for the day" threads because now and again i cheat and re-use them well, new people join all the time and some are too good not to give another airing too

I'm never going to let my contacts get out of control again. it took me ages to sort them out. I use the ranking system for people that I am related to. All the others I delete.

I never delete straight away and yes they do build up.
ONE day I'm going to not look in on the threads but just go deleting on My Threads and personal messages......... perhaps.
