Hi Gwyn,
Be careful of the 'economy wash' options. I have a Hoover - the 'economy wash' is cold and it doesn't do a half load!!!! Other than that it's energy efficiency is excellent !!!

i have a whirlpool 6th sense washer and up to now touch wood its been great.

its lasted the longest so far, i wash for england with 3 kids.

the great thing is it has a 30min quick wash,

i have a hoover nextra and have had it 5 years
never had a prob with it ,

I need a new machine. Do you have a reliable one that you'd recommend?
OH will look at online reviews etc. tomorrow but personal recommendation is always good to hear.

It must be energy efficient if possible and I'd like a delay timer so that I can make use of cheaper night-time electricity.
Last one was a Bosch which has served us well.
