------------------------------go to say something and the wrong word comes out? I just told my OH that there was a reindeer circling over his head-----meant to say seagull lol
I have no idea where reindeer came from--I wasnt thinking about reindeer,I didnt mean to say reindeer but reindeer was what came out--is there any hope for me? lol

Only once did I say a clanger lol

My dad was suffering really badly with mouth ulcers so I advised him about the stuff I used for my kids when they were teething when he asked what it was I said anusol - just rub it on and it will take away any pain...(couldn't understand why my hubby was killing him self laughing). When I got off the phone he asked if my dad had piles? No I said he has mouth ulcers, Why? Well he said I just wondered cause you told him to buy anusol, justh thought he was suffering from them thats all... I suddenly rushed back to the phone to call him back to tell him it wasn't anusol but anbersol for teething problems lol

Luckily he didn't have time to go to the chemist I just caught him as he was putting on his coat...

Always careful of what I say now lol

I overheard a good one in a garden centre years ago. Daren't say the word cos I don't want to get put in the naughty corner so you'll have to guess a bit.

It was a very lovely quiet looking lady in her 60's, asking a young assistant if he could come and help them get a (clematis) and her husband would point at the one he liked. She just got slightly muddled with the word clematis and asked instead for a somewhat private part of a ladies anatomy.

I will say no more.

I think the lady buying the "clematis" may well have had other things on her mind, or maybe she'd just had a gynae(spell check pls!) appointment and was all shook up?

But how sweet was it that she said her husband would point at the one he liked best ;0)
