Flirting is giving another person there is a degree of intrest in them,and if oppertunity arose boundries maybe crossed,

Flirting to me is ,touching,kissing ,overly attention,

But friendly open banter I dont see as a threat or great problem,,and is not flirting,

If you have had good friends for over 20years then there is a degree of trust,so shouldnt woory about it,

In my opinion 'flirting' suggest that there may be some sort of sexual ego going on...why would you want to 'flirt' with your friends partners.?..
I think you are on dangerous grounds. these things always have a way of back-firing on you.....
even if your friends say they dont mind, or dont take you seriously things could still get out of hand.
you could be the subject of ridicule or blame should they have problems at sometime in their relationship,
how would you feel if you had a bad day, and felt a little low, and someone flirted with your loved one.?

I would save your flirting for someone not connected to your circle of friends, or to some-one you really fancy and want to be with....

Call me old fashioned but if someone started flirting with my husband i would soon tell them where to go.
If they cannot find a man of there own there must be something wrong.

I think it's dangerous and I have heard of a few men who have got the wrong impression - flirting is not the same as having a laugh.

I don't regard having a joke and a laugh as flirting. Flirting, to my mind, has some sort of sexual charge even if both parties have no intention of taking things further. I'm a hopeless flirt, always have been even when I was fancy free, I always find it a bit 'cringy' when other people do it, but that's just me, lol! I wouldn't like other women flirting with OH, well not when I'm there.

Pink, i see your point that you feel sorry that i slowly began to hate the girl in question, truth is i loathed her!!!!!! Hubby used to smile sweetly back at her, but his mates used to rib him and say she was "gagging for it" , i see that your laughter etc is not on the same level at all....... Maybe your question should have read 'is it wrong to laugh and joke with my married friends?' and of course the answer would have been a resounding NO.........

Flirting is a 2way happening,,,if one party is not intrested in flirting then they will walk away,and not encourage it,

i agree Kay,but sometimes men dont seem to be able to see it-"oh shes just being friendly,you are paraniod,etc etc (memories,lol) guys have different outlooks to women,dont you think?
