yrs back I read The flowers in the attic..and sequel
went on to horror..(king..Herbert)..
Then went onto crime thrillers..
Any books any of you could recommend..and why..~~

Yes Ive read a lot of Cornwall and James Patterson books..
Murder mysteries are good..

Jeffery Deaver writes fantastic books.
I like Val Mcdermid too, though hers can be a little gruesome at times (and she looks like such a lovely lady too)

I'm reading Patricia Cornwell books at the moment and I also like Bill Bryson.

The book I treasure is a book of poems by Richard Beckinsdale

Enjoyed it immensley,

The Other side of the bridge (mary Lawson)

Detour- James Siegel
A thriller that pulls at the heartstrings

any of Bill Bryson's and Sue Townsend - particularly liked Adrian Mole and the Weapons of Mass Destruction - hysterical

Bit of a Tom Sharpe fan as well

R Delderfield - love his books - "To Serve them all our Days"

Deirdre Purcell - Irish writer - great books - "Falling for a Dancer" particularly good and the sequels to it

I also like Carl Hiassen and Cristopher Brookmyre - both very very funny authors.

And you can't beat a good Agatha Christie book! :-))
