I am trying to trace the natural family of my grandmother. she was born in september 1927 and registered as Roma Smith in Romford by her mother Elizabeth Smith of Ilford. She was left on her fathers doorstep at 3 weeks of age, and he kindly paid for her upkeep in an orphanage until she was adopted at 18 months. His name was Frederick John Charles Mckellar/ mackellar. Does anyone have any information on either parent please?
