What's good to put on sunburn apart from after sun? I look a bit lobsteresque.

was not an " Ordinary" a type of early Bicycle?

Logic therefore suggests that an Extra ordinary was a Tricycle.....

Try sour milk for sunburn.
Put a few drops of vinegar into a cup of cold milk to sour it - if you don't have any that has turned naturally.
Pat it on and leave as long as possible.
Living abroad in the '50/60s we used this a lot. No special aftersun stuff then.
Oh those pioneering days ....!

Hi,

A SURE cure that I have found for deep itch,
Is... MENTHOL RUB.....I think any kind will do, I buy something called ' Ice Cold' it's an analgesic gel rub .very cheap for a big jar........Rinse off with water, Rub the gel on. the itch dissapears in minutes....I tried all kinds of expensive prescriptions and over the counter medications. I found this by accident in desperation. Then I heard a doctor on telly saying the menthol calms the nerve endings that cause the itch. ( that was here in California. I buy it at the $1. Store)

Hope this helps someone.

Cheers,
Margaret

I have replied to 2 of these privately. Bicarbonate of soda is used for all sorts of things.

I have just found a new product (well, to me anyway) - bicarb. wipes in a packet.
Brilliant. Just started doing the fridge with them.
