Weren't using a rubber saucepan Kitty were you?

When you boil it up add some vinegar, that should help soften it.

Julie Ann,

The older I get the more unpleasant the heat and have to sleep with windows open...Every Tom, Dick and Harry has a dog...

Dog's bark all night as holiday makers party all night..not pleasant for those of us that live here...

Lindy ;)))))))

on our last night , my birthday i had few sangrias, and son reminds me i was ready to go down to reception and tell the noisey drunk who wok e me everynight swearing and shouting, and fighting,

all 4ft 11 of me,

until i headed for the bathroom instead
too much fruit in that sangria makes you sick

Hiya Caz,

Great to see you..

Kitty,

Bonfires are not allowed without the permission of the Fire Department.

We have a beautiful Mountain that thank God for the last three years has not caught fire....So any perculiar smells we report to the fire station....

One year it was so bad that it rained ash for a week on my veranda and I had to use a mask because of breathing problems...So any weird smells, especially this time of the year are not ignored.

Lol,

Julie Ann,

Don't know when we will be able to take a holiday again but when we do we go to the wilds in Brazil...

Rather be eaten by mosquito's and have one eye open for creepy crawlies then tolerating drunken holiday makers.

We thought about it last summer but as our oldest dog had just died, so opted for a brand new bully and bichon frise instead...

They wreck our house, cost us a fortune in vet fees but the happiness they bring us is superior to any holiday...

Lindy ;))
