Next door neighbour has five assorted dogs and they recognise her car and bark and bark until she gets through the door, don't bother about anyone else's. it's remarkable I think. |

I agree that animals are much cleverer than most humans. Took dogs through school grounds today as I lock up outer gates. Merlin who is nearly blind and very deaf made a beeline for the a frame wih the runner beans growing up it. He went straight down the middle a 2' tunnel with his nose to the ground. He then proceeded to work a 6' square of newly turned earth done yesterday. Then I realised why. I had sprinkled both with blood fish and bone. It must be a blessing and a curse to have such a sensitive nose, just think of all the smellies we use around the house on our clothes etc and I must smell like an old ash tray to him. Makes you think. Elaine. |
