I don't have a bank account that has the direct debit facility either or a debit card - just a cash card. My sons have a joint account they no longer use so I have the use one of their debit cards and just feed cash into the account.

£5 a month - daylight robbery!!

Joyce, get yourself a pre-paid 'credit card' you dont get into debt , no need for a bank account or a credit check and you can top up in shops and use it as you would a normal credit card...£5 a month by mobile is a total rip off
