I love the programme, the people who take in the visitors show such generosity and kindness. Last week's was good too.
I thought that hunter/gatherer chap was rather nice, but you wouldn't get me in a place like that, I couldn't have cooked and eaten that poor monkey or slept in the hammock and bathed in the river, for anything. I like my home comforts too much. I thought the woman was brave to do the visit and I hope somehow she will keep in touch with them maybe, after all she is married to the chap now. I did think it was a bit silly the way she went along with the marriage knowing there was no future in it, but I suppose it is very unlikely he will meet anyone else to marry anyway if they see few people.
Awful that the loggers are trying to encroach on their lands, and spoil the life they know and love.
Quite fascinating and interesting, I look forward to the next one.
