Joy, why do you have to have your feet in a bucket of water lol?

My late dog, a lab cross, used to try to emigrate to Australia, so I had to have my garden paved over, now she lies at rest under the one flower bed there was, with a big lilac tree growing on top of her.
She was a devil, I took her to see an old lady who had moved into sheltered accommodation and who used to love Daisy going to her house, it was a bit crowded in Alice's little bungalow so I tied Daisy's lead to the linen post outside in the communal garden and when I went out five minutes later she had nearly dug the post up!
We used to have to hose her down in the garden when she got too heavy to go in the bath, then we would shampoo her and rinse her off with buckets of warm water, rub her down a bit and run her round the block on her lead till she was dried off a bit to come inside and be finished off. Could obviously only do it in good weather tho, so was a bit stinky sometimes bless her.
So miss her and my cats.

My puppy drove me made digging holes in my flower beds and lawn. Tried everything I could think of - including covering flower bed with all my garden furniture, putting large bolders over the new holes, etc etc. Nothing seemed to work - but then I had a brain wave.... as soon as I catch her digging a new hole, I put a pile of her pooh in it. In the last 7 days there has only been one new hole dug. lol
