Went to Superdrug to buy disposable camera for London. They had 2 on the shelf , both looked the same --200asa , 27 pictures etc . One was 3.99 , other was £4.99 , buy one get one free. I asked the assistant why the price difference -she couldn`t tell me, "head office set the prices , must be different style "was her answer. There was only one at 3,99 so I asked for that one and one at £4.99, no had to take 2 at £4.99. I would have had to pay £4.99 whatever I did so what difference did it make?

Were you offered discount on a quite useless insurance cover deal?

My daughter was. It was discounted down from £10 to £5. The assistant couldn't understand why my daughter told her to take up cycling instead!!
