one of those inflatable neck cushions so you can nod off!! bottle of water, MP3 player or iPod, some sweets to suck

A pillow, light blanket and sleeping tablets!! Quiz book, chewing gum, wet wipes.

and not many comfort stops.

Wear clothes made of natural fibres, cotton preferably and nothing too tight or cumbersome.

Comfortable shoes, again not tight or consider some that slip off easily so that you can travel barefoot between stops.

A big soft cushion you can use for catching some zzz's or for resting your botty on :o))

Headache tablets
Ear plugs
soft cardi
flight socks (see comment about stretching on another post)
indegestion tablets
mints
Small travel toothpaste & brush for freshen up times.

Flight socks are apparently not suitable for people with certain medical conditions. Father-in-law has been told NOT to wear them.
We flew to NZ earlier this year and just about everyone travelled barefoot wearing light cotton towelling socks provided by the airline, ...no shape or style, just loose and comfortable.
