Hello everyone,

Been on google trying to get into these, but so far been unsuccesfull. First of all how much does this cost. All I seem to get up is a price in dollers, which confuses me even more. Which I did'nt think was possible.

Hope someone can help as I'm about to give up.

Jean you can get a great deal of IGI records on the LDS site fo free. Go to www.familysearch.com then click on search.From there you will find the IGI and lots of other usefull stuff to get you started.

Yes it is a good site to get you started and before you go and spend money on other pay as you go sites.

However be careful of the results. If they say they are Extracted records then they are pobably OK.
If they say they are Submitted by a member of the LDS church then you need to double check.
