Hi Caz it could bedue to adhesions. Thats whats i was told when i kept getting burning and pain. I have only had 2 caesarians but when they opened me up for the 2nd one they said it was a mess and full of adhesions form my first emergency one. |

my hubby develpoed a hernia in april...i think it depends how bad it is but his was operated on at the end of may. my dad has two hernias and as they don't cause him any problems they won't operate, |

Yes, they can... and I believe they are fairly common on or around abdominal surgery scars... Surgery tends to leave a weakness in the muscle walls... no matter how skilled the stitcher-upperer! |

yes you can if the stomach wall has been cut it will make it weak and more prone to hernias |
