Ann

was in Hastings, moved there when I left college to work and met Steve at work and married and stayed until 2002 when we moved up here.

Miss some of my college mates as well and have tried to contact one of them through his partner on here but got no reply.

Still have a couple from hastings that keep in contact but not the same as going out with them though.

Will have to try and get down there this summer.

where were you from before then Dawnie?
I know what you mean, we have moved so many times and always left friends behind. I wonder often what it would have been like if we had stayed in my home town where all my school friends still live in the same area. I too don't have any real friends int his area having moved here way after the children were grown. I think you mainly make friends when the children are little. as you get older it is harder to make friends

just had email from eldests godmother with pictures of her eldests prom night. The two girls were such good friends growing up and then we moved when they were 9. The last time I saw her she looked the same as when we left just a little bigger, havent seen any pictures for a few years and boy was I shocked took me and hubby a while to workout which one of the girls she was. Like Lissy she has grown up and changed completely both of them blossomng.

Im now sat here missing all the friends I left behind, havent made many up here and only 1 I know I can rely on for anything.

I know we made the right decision moving as there are more opportunities her efor the children but am just missing them and the wondering what we would of all been getting up to now.
