What is your favourite jewell..and does it relate to your birthstone?

My favourite is Ruby..I love the richness of the colour..and being born July..so happens its my birthstone..

Yes Sapphires are lovely...you get variants..bit like rubies..

you sure it was a sapphire Leanne?.. ; )....they are always blue as far as I know..

You can though get blue diamonds.so anything possible..any geologists here?!

well the jeweler said they are quite rare?
must admit ive never heard of yellow ones.

heard of black diamonds though.

~~I guess..with any jewell they can come in variants of colours..regardless of species..they are all to do with carbon..and the periodic table..so..will have to look this one up!..~~Yellow..sapphires...intriguing

A broach that was my grans. It is a cameo broach, but the background is black, rather than the usual caramel colour. Means the world to me. Got a hospital visit tomorrow, and will wear it for good luck, as, if she is watching over me.

I like pearls and moonstones and white opals and blue topaz.... I like diamonds too, but the only one I have was my Mum's which she bought 2nd hand with her big win from bingo.......it has a black flaw in it, but I just think that she was a coal miners daughter so it is really appropriate...
