Was bend it like Beckham a British film? I saw that a few months ago... I have to say I didn't expect to enjoy it, but it was really good! |

Good Grief there are so many British Films....some of them go back yonks. How about the war films, like The Dambusters, 633 Squadron and so on, or some of the timeless romances we've seen on the silver screen over the decades? |

There's quite a few that I've never seen so I cannot say it's the best but I do have a soft spot for The 39 Steps (1935). My favourite probably changes but I always enjoy watching this. |

ok 4 Weddings was great (although I prefer Love Actually), I love Lock Stock and Life of Brian but I'm with Ann GG - Ealing Comedies especially The Ladykillers and not forgetting Kind Hearts and Coronets. |
