Well, my garden's definitely better than theirs!

Theirs are mostly asphalt ...

But as I sit here in my home office in baggy pants and no shirt, with my hair screwed up on the back of my head in an elastic ... my appearance might be better than the night shift worker across the street who's probably just rolling out of bed round about now ...

And I helped rear some of their children -- Chinese-Canadian families with parents much younger than me, and little girls who took a shine to me and my cats and spent a lot of their time doing crafts and watching Hayley Mills movies and getting homework help at my house, and going on outings to local historic sites and the like -- so I guess I'd have to say it's a tie when it comes to rearing *their* children!

Thanks Kitty, no one seems to understand.

I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you, but I had to rush into the living room to watch my wall mounted flat screen TV.

every one comes into world with nothing and we all go out with nothing so nobody is any better than anyone else even if they think they are

I am no better and no worse than my neighbours. I have very good neighbours, we all look after our gardens, we all have pretty gardens. I try not to look down on anyone.

Lynda -- one of the best parts was demonstrating the "electric hips" of the fiancée in Parent Trap to three 10-yr-olds who were non-plussed by the term.

They acted it out and collapsed in giggles every time they watched it after that. ;)

Girlie movies. The best.

And we shall swear a blood-sister oath never to watch the remake, eh Lynda?

I think it was the anorexic Ashley and Mary-Kate twins ... yes, it was. Eeewwwww.
