Yes,It was fantastic ,I dont know if its the envy of the world these days,but at least we do have some sort of health care even if its substandard these days. |

I'm not a fan of the Labour party either, but the treatments now available are vast compared to the days when the NHS began................therefore the NHS grows more costly every year. |

my mum was born in january 1948 and apparently on the tv they said it would have cost 30 shillings for her to born in hospital. |
