wmsl Kitty.... cheeky monkey!!

I might go home with a bigger spare tyre ;¬))

Am more likely to leave something behind!!

Mind you..... quite fancy nicking Ann's Hostas.. they are beautiful... but I might be had up by the RSPCP as they wouldn't stand a chance with my collection of pet slugs and snails!!

It is gorgeous Kitty... They have crammed it full of plants, lovely fragrant ones, and little mini *rooms* in the garden with a feature in each, climbing plants over rustic trellis,and benches and chairs in each one to stop and sit, and drink in the smells and the beauty..... absolutely stunning!

Don't let on just yet, but I might move in!!

Ann is preparing lunch at the moment.......

~~~~Daff & Ann
Mum had some hostas, the slugs completely devastated them but the flowers were so pretty. Mum hated them but I liked them.
Rather than nicking the garden...nick the gardener and put them to work PMSL ;-)
Enjoy yourself Daff and Ann, the garden sounds beautiful and I am sure the lunch will be great too.
If I get to your neck of the woods again, I will bring you some of our lovely ornamental grasses and some other bits and pieces, but won't be this year I don't think altho still have to sort out another holiday. Cost of petrol might prohibit range of visit tho. Enjoy yourselves, don't forget you have to drive home Ann, don't get too replete!
Now it is me!!!
Daff has just left to drive home down the horrible M5 and M4. Had a lovely time with her, really enjoyed her visit.
don't think she has left anything behind and I still seem to have all the cutlery etc.
I am just in.... easier journey home than out... a lot of the lorry drivers had disappeared from the road, so no horrendous snarl ups!
Ann, thank you so much for making me feel so welcome, and also for the lovely lunch... you have a beautiful garden, and I have taken away some brilliant ideas!! I thoroughly enjoyed myself... I am now shamed into making some order out of my office!
I didn't nick the cutlery honest, guv! lol.... but I still fancy your hostas... they wouldn't stand a chance in my garden, as I said earlier.
Hi Daff
glad you got home OK. I missed this so put a thread up!!
It was lovely to see you, you are the perfect guest..... Just love people who admire the garden as Tony works so hard on it! glad you enjoyed lunch. goodness knows what we talked about but you were here three and a half hours so it must have been something!! Didn't that time fly? We must do it again. I should have offered you some hardy geraniums but I forgot, so next time!!
lol Ann......... I really am going to nick some of your ideas, and just tweak them a little as we have all the trees and stuff...... my *wild* garden will be behind a screen, .and I am going to look out for a log-type seat for there..
and I had already had plans to *box in* the decking with trellis and roses, so now I know it will look brilliant..... we already have a park bench thing, the patio set and a set with a little table between like yours... Hurrans special, but it needs painting up... plus we have some wicker types as well (plastic and aluminium, so don't mind being left outside)
Must put all the bricks, rubble and bits of wood to good use!
Perfect guest? Me?..... I never shut up, lol!!! But thank you!
Oh... well I guess someone was just hiding the thread for the moment LOL... Either that or I need to pay more attention next time and it couldn't be that *winks*
Glad you two had a nice time together today. I don't seam to live near anybody else, but,I do have contact from a lady off of here who is, I think, my fourth cousin. Our Gt. Grandfathers were brothers. We now ring each other every Sunday morning for a good old chat. We are so alike, it is uncanny. She often goes to see her son further south than where I live and we have started to arrange that when she is next passing through, we will meet.
Although we are not ones much for visitors, I am really looking forward to this, and hope that she can see my home as a stopping off place on her journeys from the north.
Julia,
Daff is very kind, she doesn't live near me really, it took her an hour and a half to get here. she knows I don't like distance driving and comes all this way to see me.
Daff, next time I will pay the bridge toll!!
Hiya Gwyn, how are you?? It is.... but reckon it would look much nicer in my garden ;¬))
The weather was beautiful as well..... oh and the blackbird youngster was having a bath right next to the window, virtually.... and there was a baby goldfinch on the bird table... brilliant.
I can't encourage the birds too closely as Jethro and Hermie (well, Jethro, Hermie is not too bright, lol) would have them.... it wouldn't be fair.
