I must say though marilyn although I am sorry this thread has made you feel upset,you your self came onto this thread in the early hours of this morning and had a completely unfair poke at Kathryn B.
I see it has now been deleted but I saw it and answered it at the time.
Unfortunately it has snowballed from there

or that you can have these things checked on google lv had a computer for less than a year and am still only learning its uses
l dont need a lot of hassle as most of you know l lost me mum last month and am struggling to get everything sorted out on my own

I just have to say one thing.

Last night was the first time EVER that I have had an argument with KathrynB. I don't wait in the wings to 'hound' her or anyone else, never have, never will, just not my style.

I do however reserve the right to defend anyone who I see as being unfairly treated. Last night was just such a time. That is all Ihave to say on the subject, the line is now drawn under the whole episode and moving on.

Suggest we all do the same...

but I do know that ALL of the above named often hold intelligent, interesting, pleasant conversations with me ...though I also allow that the 'style' of writing of you all, is obviously very different .

All take a deep breath, it is a new day....and can you all think about someone who needs your good wishes today (doesn't matter who it will just make you think of something else other than GR! lol)

Are these boards for real? Eldrick, for one scary moment, I thought you'd become confused between real life and GR world. lol

The point I was making is that in a thread entitled as this onw is, with no mention at all of anyone, no hint of offence to anyone, people see it as an opportunity to 'attack' someone else.

It speaks volumes. Any comment would be superflous.

Kathryn can be brusque (funny I had that on one of my annual reports when i was at work in the 90s) But she is also extremely literate and very clever. I admit I have not always seen eye to eye with her, but there does seem to be a policy of 'get Kathryn' when she ventures onto a thread. Luckily she is made of 'strong stuff' and doesn't find it upsetting. Well not that we know. other people who have been hounded have left.

This usually happens at night. Can't we all accept each others foibles and manner and learn to live together.

And maybe Kathryn herself could try and not be so critical of people as well. This is supposed to be fun as well as a medium for learning.

I used to add to the threads when people were getting hounded and must truthfully admit on more than one occasion I was guilty of helping with the hounding but I've grown up now :)

I try to avoid those sort of threads unless I am really incensed as I am now.

Yes Kathryn B can be acerbic at times but is that any reason to hound her whenever she posts on these boards.

The argument going on at the moment seems to be between Kathryn and Wildcat
