Computer Techie Help Please

Thanks Christina, OH also suggested this one, but saving the pennies at the moment for a well deserved holiday so will have to keep cranking up the old machine

not quite blue but black, dont know if this is worse!

The BIOS does the boot thingy, then I get the windows logo, then black the PC is making the usual noises but nothing moving on the screen, then it starts all over again.

I have tried a system restore but still hapening and I have unplugged all the hardware and re plugged but still nothing.

I had the same problem last year and flashed my BIOS.

However, when I had a similar problem with my Dell I ran diagnostics and found there were bad sectors on my hard drive and it wouldn't boot up.

Do you get the blue screen of death?

My PC is in a Boot Loop & I dont know how to stop it.

It took 2 hours yesterday to come on then on other days it comes on straight away.

I have had a bit of a google which tells me its the BIOS, but know idea how to get to it or what to do next..

Help please!

On sons laptop at the mo but he will no doubt want it back when he gets out of bed.
