OH recently bought a toaster that also has thing on the side that poaches/boils eggs, he thinks it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
As he chucked the old toaster out I say it's a waste of money..
We also have a pannini style toastie thing, oh heck now I have to go find something low calorie to munch on xx

I have a toasted sandwich maker and some of those bags you can make a toasted sanwich in in the toaster. Now I have read this thread I am wondering if I could use one of those bags in a sandwich maker to stop all the filling going into those really well designed places where you can never get it out.

I am ashamed to say I own one - I hate them, but my kids just love a cheese and ham or cheese and baked bean toastie, It does have removeable plates for washing

..............its the only way to get one tin of beans shared between 6 kids.lol

Oh those Brevilles were so delish Kay......I remember someone making them and I went out and bought one........All that lovely melted cheese but the tomato burnt the tongue....

....the only thing that got me down though was the plates got stuck up in the creases with the melted butter and cheese, and although I tried I couldn't get it really clean again.........not allowed cheese now.....
