to all who have built their tree partly from IGI records. I went to a records office yesterday to print out certificates, something I have done several times and the information I gathered tied in with the IGI, however yesterday I found that the two records I required were not there on microfilm as detailed on the IGI with regards to church and date. Incorrectly transcribed Church, name, date or what? Where do I go from here? Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

it was after 1837, Gwyn, not sure about the GRO index, even though I've got an old membership number I'm still a 'newbie' when it comes to certain things! There was a baptism and a marriage certificate I wanted to look at on microfilm. I took details from familysearch.org but looked at all the quarters records, but didn't find what I thought would be there. Perhaps a different church / year? |

As it's after 1837 you could check the marriage year and quarter on freebmd site |

If it was a parish register it might just turn up in the Bishop's transcript. |
