well i don't know how i would manage without mine. i have an alll singing all dancing one that does things like jacket potatoes to perfection .I prefer them to ones cooked in the oven and they take a fraction of the time I cook nearly all my veg in the micro and because you don't use salt they are VERY healthy .Mine does the casseroles too in a very short time compared to the oven and must cost less in electric.
If .or WHEN. you get one you will wonder how you did without it . WELL worth getting one with more than the basis skills. that my opinion!!

hell no Ann...i hate them......we got one for a wedding pressie and i used it for a while but then put it in the cellar and then i gave it to my sil.

I use mine a lot I use the steam bags for veg, only
takes a couple of mins,I also do spuds in for a short time and then put them in the oven to cisp the skins.

Wouldn't be without one for the world, makes life so much easier and veg don't get overcooked etc. Marvellous invention!
